I had a nice walk this morning.. soft sunrays everywhere and cold temperatures, I almost got lost in a strange place. I came 2 times to this precise place with good lights, well I thought I had to try tomake a good capture of this. But the wood was not really nice and the sunrays too weak, so I tried strange perspectives already thinking of a BW, but I'm not sure of the result though.

I think you catch the detail well the way you did.... One can feel the soft light, and in black and white, everything is quiet and stark at once. I like the overall effect.

It works well, I think. The black and white approach emphasise the contrasting tones, while the distant light source adds to the feeling of depth.

You have made the maximum use of the pictorial resources!
