Saturday's morning was rainy and windy.
I was in a beautiful forest deep inside the local woods, which is one of these natural forests that become rare in my region, because of the wood exploitation...
In this forest, there's a lot of rocks (and mushrooms!) and some old trees have impressive roots, like these.
Despite the "more rainy than foggy" conditions, I thought I had to try a capture of this old place.

What can I say!! Your talent as a photographer is growing in leaps and bounds. I find the perspective of this shot just wonderful and it has an almost "pre-historic" feel. The clarity of the tree roots and those bronze autumnal leaves lead you further into that rock laden path and then that soft hazy background of the forest.
Thank you for yet another inspirational and excellent capture.
